Project Details
Engineering Applications engaged CE Group, a leading electrical water infrastructure contractor, to supply and install a fixed stand for a mobile PAC (Powder Activated Carbon) trailer. This trailer was designed to be easily moved between sites as needed, enhancing the overall flexibility of the plant’s operations.
CE Group’s scope of work involved upgrading the site’s infrastructure, which included the installation of new backbone cabling to accommodate this mobile solution.
The mobile PAC trailer is integrated into the plant’s existing SCADA network, ensuring seamless control and monitoring when plugged in.
By upgrading the infrastructure, CE Group ensured that the trailer can be efficiently connected to the plant’s systems without disrupting operations. This solution not only improved the site’s capabilities but also increased the flexibility of asset management across multiple locations.
Moreover, the development and installation of mobile trailers have significantly enhanced asset utilization throughout the existing sites. This has, in turn, reduced the need for extensive capital expenditure across the network, benefiting the client both operationally and financially.
CE Group, as a trusted electrical water infrastructure contractor, provided a comprehensive solution that aligned with the client’s long-term goals of reducing costs while maximising efficiency.
