Project Details

CE Group, a leading electrical water infrastructure contractor, was contracted to manage the design and construction of the electrical and process control services for the new Maleny Sewerage Treatment Plant. This project was a significant addition to community infrastructure for Unity Water, with the development focusing on four key objectives. These objectives included delivering a safe, reliable, and robust solution, while providing value for money to the residents of Maleny.

CE Group took full responsibility for the design, detailed documentation, and certification of the facility. The project involved the construction of several new buildings and the implementation of innovative technologies. These technologies included flow balancing, biological secondary treatment, tertiary filtration, effluent disinfection, chemical dosing, and odour management systems. Given the plant’s $17 million value, CE Group ensured that every aspect of the electrical systems was built to high industry standards.

Throughout the project, CE Group developed and applied innovative solutions to ensure that the Maleny Sewerage Treatment Plant was delivered on time. Additionally, the company met strict operational and regulatory constraints, maintaining the high level of quality expected by Unity Water.

This project showcases CE Group’s ability as an electrical water infrastructure contractor to deliver on complex projects, ensuring both quality and timeliness. It also further reinforces the company’s commitment to the community and long-term partnerships.
