CE is awarded its first Water Treatment project beginning a long history of high quality water infrastructure delivery
In September, CE Group is awarded its first major interstate project in NSW
CE is contracted to work on the 4B$ USD, Wynn Palace Casino in Macau, China and plays an integral part in the on time opening of facility. CE provides the project over 40 Australian electricians for over 18 months and leads all electrical construction works
In February, CE Group begins its Pacific expansion of the back of the successful delivery of the Exxon Mobil PNG head quarters with the incorporation of CE Papua New Guinea and the opening of the first overseas office in Port Moresby. CE is also awarded the APEC Haus Project as the lead electrical company in preparation for the APEC world leaders Summit
CE Group continues to expand in the pacific with company incorporations in New Zealand, Vanuatu and Fiji
In March, CE Group opens up the Mackay office to service the growing portfolio of Mining projects in Mackay, the Bowen Basin and surrounding areas
CE Group opens the North Brisbane office, is awarded the 20m Tallawarra Power Station in Wollongong NSW and grows its work force to 180 people.
Due to continued growth in the Australia and the Pacific, the company's name and logo is changed to Complex Electrical (CE Group) from Contract Electrical Queensland (CEQ) to provide a more inclusive representation as a multinational contractor
CE Switchboards is launched, specialising in Custom Switchboards, Switchrooms and total engineering solutions. CE opens the Gold Coast office to extend our ability work in the area
The Woolongong office is opened to service key clients across the greater region
CE Group grows to 300 people with works across across Australia and Pacific
