After successfully completing Stage 1 of the Electrical, Instrumentation, Monitoring, and Control (EIMC) works for Icon Water in the ACT, CE Group was awarded Group 2. As an experienced electrical water infrastructure contractor, CE Group is proud to continue supporting this critical project. The goal is to enhance the safety and reliability of electrical and control installations across 93 reservoirs, valve farms, and pump stations throughout the ACT.

This ongoing project is part of a five-year program that covers nearly half of Icon Water’s network assets. Given the operational nature of the sites, all assets must remain functional during the installation. Only small windows of time are available for taking assets offline, making precise planning essential.

At each site, the telemetry system is being upgraded, which impacts interconnected sites within the network. Despite these challenges, CE Group has ensured a smooth execution, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

CE Group is excited to continue this valued partnership with Icon Water and WSP in delivering the second phase of the EIMC renewal program.
