Project Details

The history of successful project completions between CE Group and Teys Australia continued with the Beenleigh Waste Water and Bio-Gas Collection project. As a trusted electrical industrial contractor, CE Group upgraded the wastewater treatment system at the Teys Beenleigh facility. The upgrade included installing a Covered Anaerobic Lagoon (CAL) with the capacity to capture biogas for flaring and boiler fuel. Additionally, CE Group installed a pond-based Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) plant with an aeration system, clarifier system, and sludge dewatering capacity.

CE Group approached this complex project with the expertise expected of a leading electrical industrial contractor. The project required meticulous planning and execution to ensure that the upgraded systems met the client’s objectives. These objectives included reducing greenhouse gas emissions from anaerobic treatment by capturing and destroying biogas. Furthermore, Teys aimed to eliminate potential financial liability for carbon emissions under the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme. Another objective was to reuse the captured biogas in a boiler to offset natural gas usage.

Throughout the project, CE Group’s team demonstrated strong adaptability and problem-solving skills. The introduction of new technologies presented challenges, but also provided CE Group with valuable exposure. The successful project completion met the client’s environmental and operational goals, enhancing CE Group’s expertise as an electrical industrial contractor.

In conclusion, this project served as a significant milestone in CE Group’s relationship with Teys Australia. The experience gained solidified CE Group’s position as a reliable electrical industrial contractor. The project’s success underscores the importance of choosing a contractor capable of meeting evolving industry challenges.
